Celebrate in style at Dallah Chapel

Where timeless charm, breathtaking surrounds, and modern elegance create the perfect setting for unforgettable events.

Weddings at Dallah Chapel

Dallah Chapel is a private estate set on a beautiful property approximately 20 minutes from Ballarat. Surrounded by established trees and Mount Erip as your backdrop, it exists for one purpose. To be the most considered and beautifully flexible setting for your private property wedding.

We didn’t set out to be just another wedding venue in Regional Victoria. We set out to solve the problem that sits at the heart of almost every property wedding in Victoria. The gap between the dream and the reality of pulling a wedding day all together at a private property.

At Dallah Chapel, you get the freedom and feeling of a private property celebration with the infrastructure already in place. No chasing suppliers for generators. No surprise costs for portaloos. No figuring out how to get your guests from Ballarat to your venue.

We take care of the bones, so you can focus on what actually matters. Creating a wedding day that feels completely, entirely yours.

Your wedding, your choice of settings

There’s no single ceremony location at Dallah Chapel which makes the choices endless. Exchange your vows in front of the Chapel doors with their heritage brick framing, beneath the canopy of the big Cypress tree, or on the open lawn with nothing but green grass and a view of Mount Erip stretching out behind you. You choose what feels right.

From there, guests move to your chosen lawn area for canapés and drinks while you continue your wedding photos around the property.

As the sun shifts and begins to set over Mount Erip the marquee comes to life for your reception.

Planning, made simple

We believe in honest, transparent planning. From your very first conversation with us, we’ll give you a clear indication of what a typical wedding at Dallah Chapel costs, not just the venue hire fee, so you can plan ahead with confidence and clarity.

The venue hire fee covers the property, one night’s accommodation and infrastructure essentials. You have the option to add onto your package additional accommodation at Dallah Chapel and bus transport for your guests. Beyond that, your marquee and furniture, catering, beverages and on-the-day coordinator are booked and paid separately, directly with the suppliers you choose. To protect the quality of your day, these specific suppliers are engaged from our curated list of trusted, reputable suppliers. We’ll guide you on who to approach and what to expect, but the final choice within that list is entirely yours.

Everything else, your photographer, celebrant, florist, hair and makeup, entertainment and stationery, is completely your choice and arranged however you like.

Your on-the-day coordinator manages suppliers, bump-in and bump-out, and oversees the day from start to finish, so you can actually be a guest at your own wedding.
